There is a lot to this format, so I'm only going to cover some basic information that pertains to creating DDS textures for Dolphin. I have linked a few articles at the bottom of this section that goes much further into detail than I will here. DDS textures have the advantage that they are faster than PNG textures. DDS can completely avoid or greatly reduce stuttering that custom textures may introduce. If you skip the inner hood, you can skip this step all together and just sew the bottom with the edges folded about a millimeter or do a zig zag stitch on the outside.
