About this deal

We have been using the lens for over 8 months now and have been able to test several copies of it to make our review as comprehensive and accurate as possible. Below we will take a look at how the lens performs on Z-series cameras like the Nikon Z6 and Z7, discuss its ergonomics, features and optical characteristics, and compare it to its F-mount counterparts from Nikon and Sigma. No other specifications were changed and the FM2/T accepts all the same accessories. There's also been a couple of special limited editions of the camera; the Year of the Dog version of which only 300 units were produced, was released in 1994 and has a picture of a dog’s head engraved on the front place next to the FM2/T badge.

Exposure metering: Through-the-lens centre-weighted full aperture exposure measuring system using a pair of SPDs (silicon photodiodes) and metering monolithic IC circuit If you worry about this, they are easy to see on a D40, and completely invisible on the D90 and D300.

Best cheap Nikon zoom: AF-S DX 16-85mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR (APS-C)

Of course if you're doing careful landscape photography you need a focus and depth-of-field scale, but with all the confusion involved in using digital cameras, Nikon figures we'll not have any time time left over after setting all our menus to concentrate on anything actually related to photography, like getting everything in focus.

Flash Ready-light: LED provided; visible inside viewfinder; lights up when an appropriate Nikon Speedlight Unit used is fully charged; blinks to warn that the shutter speed set is beyond the electronic flash's sync range Flash synchronization: Built-in ISO-type hot-shoe; threaded sync cord terminal provided for off-camera or multi-flash photography; synchronization with electronic flash units at speeds up to 1/250 sec. There are lateral color fringes when used on the D40, which as a Gen 1 camera, can't correct for them. If you go out of your way to put the brilliant summer sun in your image and put a dark shadow on the other side to look for ghosts, you still won't get anything. As I have already pointed out, the lens is very light and compact. At just 305 grams, it is heavier than the Nikkor 50mm f/1.8G, but a bit lighter than the Nikkor 85mm f/1.8G. NIKON Df + 35mm f/1.8 @ 35mm, ISO 400, 1/80, f/5.6 Autofocus Performance and Accuracy

Comes with genuine cow leather in orange colour and with a strap with LAPITA wording on it. INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY TO OWN PERHAPS THE LAST BRAND NEW LAPITA IN THE WORLD. Many photographers consider the 35mm to be a “sweet middle” general purpose focal length for photography – it is not too wide and not too long either, making it great for photographing everything from landscapes to people. And while street photographers love 35mm lenses for that reason, lugging around a heavy and large lens is often quite impractical. For those situations, the Nikkor 35mm f/1.8G ED is a great choice, especially when coupled with a lightweight camera like Nikon D610 or D750. If you're counting pixels, the 35/2D is not as sharp as the new 35mm f/1.8G, but it does cover film and FX if you plan to upgrade. An f/2.8 lens has a maximum aperture setting of f/2.8. The lower the number (eg f/1.4), the larger the aperture, and the more light a lens will let in. This also allows for shallow depth of field, which is handy for portraits. Some zoom lenses have a variable maximum aperture like f/3.5-5.6 – this means the maximum aperture changes depending on how far the lens is zoomed in. If I was working in nasty, dirty areas, I'd forget the cap, and use an uncoated 58mm Tiffen UV filter instead. Uncoated filters are much easier to clean, but more prone to ghosting.

Over the following years, the range of Praktica cameras gradually morphed into the final BX series, of which the BX20 was the first. Functions include aperture priority, through-the-lens metering and flash measurement, a stepless electronic shutter speeded 1-1/1,000sec and LED viewfinder indicators. ULTRA RARE - COLLECTOR'S GRADE! BOXED AND COMPLETE WITH INSTRUCTION MANUAL (JAPANESE TEXT), SPECIAL EDITION LAPITA STRAP, NIKON WORLDWIDE SERVICE WARRANTY CARD AND A CERTIFICATION PAPER OF AUTHENTICITY ALONG WITH OTHER ORIGINAL PAPERWORK. (COMES WITH SHUTTER GUARD INTACT TO BE REMOVED BEFORE FIRST USE.) Nikon FM2 LAPITA Limited Edition, only 100 units made. Rarer than the Nikon Year of the Dog, Year of the Dragon or any Titanium limited edition. In this shot, I'm staring directly into the summer sun and adding one stop exposure compensation, and then lightening the palm, and still no ghosts.Nikon's finest manual focus 35mm flagship body.
