About this deal

This post may contain affiliate links, which means I receive a small commission if you make a purchase (at no cost to you! I have used Japanese skincare for over thirty years (well before “J beauty” became a thing) and I can say that the Japanfusion Deep Treatment Serum compares very favourably to a similar serum from Sensai. It means no more having to stick within your allowance and having to wait month upon month, sometimes more. Another product that isn't a must but is a nice addition for those with drier skin is this intensely moisturising mask.

I took a little makeup bag with me on an overnight trip a couple of months ago and then when I got home again from my travels I forgot to unpack it. I try to be quite thorough with my cleanser so will massage it in for a minute or two, making sure that I’ve covered my whole face and really gone up into my hairline and down my neck so that all traces of makeup have gone. Many people recommended the Superdose Vitamin C Capsules to me and I would say that they’re the least used of all the products I have bought. Not only is the texture a summer treat (it's lightweight, cooling and glow boosting all at once), it's also jam-packed with really great ingredients.

If you’re sensitive to fragrance this one is completely unscented – and makes a lovely, luxurious option. A serum I had been meaning to try was the Japanfusion Genius Lift Elixir that was hyped when it was released a few months ago. Coping with flare-ups or angry, irritated skin disrupts sleep patterns and can be very upsetting for all involved. They are good friends because ethylhexylglycerin can boost the effectiveness of phenoxyethanol (and other preservatives) and as an added bonus it feels nice on the skin too. I have been putting the trio of cleansers to the test since September, trying and comparing the three with final thoughts and decisions. Their makeup range seems to have stalled in growth a little, when I cast over the range I don’t feel like I’m looking at something that’s grown anywhere near as much as other segments which is a bit of a shame. I say trends, they're really just things that many people have been wearing for ages yet I still find hilariously novel: cropped wide-leg trousers.

After that I realised that it’s a product that I should only be using every now and then and to certainly avoid around my nose. I have been on the site about five times to start up a membership and my inner rebel has cringed aghast in the corner. Hopefully this will help people as BeautyPie has a lot of cleansers and it can be confusing what each is for. My travel posts may not be as regular as I would like (money problems lol) so in the meantime I will be talking about how to budget/plan and organise a trip! There are two more products I will be reviewing by the end of the month/early Feb as I have used it enough times to form opinions about them and I don’t see them changing. I’m spending more now because I’ve incorporated serums and other treatments and now I’ve started, I don’t want to take a step back. The range is perfect for skincare newbies (although, it's also one of my absolute go-tos as a beauty editor). Caroline Hiron’s loves it, the Full Coverage Pod Love it and that was enough to make me think it would be something I had to try. A vegetable-based, PEG-free ingredient whose job is to help water and oil to mix nicely together (emulsifier).

I tend to get my fingers into it and scoop out a little onto the tips of two or three fingers which I then spread evenly around my face before I start massaging in. I’m on my second one–the first one lasted forever, got me tons of compliments, and has a clever bottom that keeps it from breaking apart when it gets low. If it’s a day when I’m wearing waterproof mascara or heavy eye makeup, I’d use this as my second cleanse.A few months ago I suffered my very first black eye (thanks to my daughter head butting my cheek) and the Ceramide Eye Roller was a godsend to use. it's honestly the best cleanser I've ever used, melts everything off and leaves my skin feeling soft and hydrated.
