The two included were the Z0.2 and Z0.25. Starting with the Z0.2 coil I found it best around 70 watts. The flavor started off poorly but broke in after a tank, although it was still just ok. It only lasted about 55 mL which is low by today’s standards. Overall, not a very good coil. Then with the Z0.25, which I found best around 50 watts. Flavor was a little better than the Z0.4 coil but still just ok. Life was the same at around 55 mL. To replace the Z series coil, you need to unscrew the base off of the container. Once you’ve found it, the coil should easily pop out, but you do get a tool if you can’t remove it. To access the battery compartment you unscrew a cap on the underside the box. Rather surprisingly, there’s no degassing vent on the model we reviewed. It’s a pity, because having one makes it much safer for the user. But there is a good reason for there being no degassing vent: the box has IP68 protection, which guarantees that it is airtight. Plus, degassing vents and airtightness are pretty incompatible.

Overall, the Solo 2 is a good kit that comes with everything you need to keep the mod running for a while without having to buy anything extra, except batteries. The S100 also has a nice look that is both sleek and classy with a screen display that is easy to read and use. Furthermore, there is a tightly-sealed tank on this kit, and the top flow dramatically reduces the risk of leaks. You can change the wattage with either a single press that adjusts in 0.5W increments or with either of the two adjustment buttons to change the wattage faster. You will find the Geekvape S100’s battery is at the bottom of the device in a tightly sealed compartment. The seal is great for keeping water and other debris away from the 18650 battery. However, unscrewing it can be hard on the fingers. However, an issue with this new 2021 tank is that it’s easy to accidentally dislodge the airflow control ring when removing the top cap since it is thin. This device is intended for sub ohm vaping. Sub ohm vape kits require a greater amount of knowledge and experience to use safely. They use specially designed coils that register below 1.0 Ohm resistance, for use at higher wattages. These kits will also feature advanced modes that require a knowledge of vaping to be used correctly.
